Bevin Bering developed her artistic eye at an early age. She was acclaimed at the age of 16 when her portfolio won a scholarship award that she applied towards the Art History and Studio Arts program at Emory University. Bevin feels honored to have studied under many great photographers like Sally Gall, Nancy Marshall and Geoff Winningham.
Bevin’s creativity is not only through the lens. She has worked within major institutions like The Drawing Center and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, both in New York, to help nurture and preserve the arts. She currently manages and operates Bering and James, an art gallery in Houston, and works in the digital arts.
